Cable Car & Union Square

As a tourist, riding in a historic cable car is on top of the things to do list. Cable cars run seven days a week. The routes direction are to Downtown, Union Square, PIER 39, Lombard ST., Fisherman’s Wharf, etc. I bought a three-day passes ticket cost 20 bucks which is worth it. ^^ You should get some coffee at the Union Square center in the morning, mingle with other tourists, shopping, and enjoying the morning weather under the Christmas tree if you go there in December. The thing that I love the most about SF is the “WEATHER”! It’s nice and breezy all year, how incredible!!! I’d love to live there if I get a chance. Haha : ) It was a fun trip and a nice way to see the city by the San Francisco’s historic Cable Cars that one wouldn’t normally see.

TIPS:

1. Catch this cable car early in the day.
2. To avoid the crowd at the beginning of the route (downtown stop), walk a block up and get in the short line in front of H&M store. They allow only halfway fills at the start point, so there will be plenty of spaces for you.
3. If you plan to use cable car more than once, please get a 3-day passes or a week passes ticket. Since it’s $6 one-way and $12 round-trip. Or you can get all day pass ~$14.
